NAJIB LAMPOONED IN 'SEXY REFUSE-TO-QUIT' PIC: 'It was a joke' - TV3 staff forced to apologize?
KUALA LUMPUR - Zuan Azmi of TV3’s entertainment and celebrity gossip programme, Melodi, has published an apology on his Instagram account after a posting he made earlier insulting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
The insulting image, also shared by Zuan on his official Instagram account @zuanbikinpanas earlier, displayed an edited photo of the premier posing in a disgraceful manner.
Zuan, who is Melodi‘s assistant producer, has removed the insulting post, and posted a statement today, apologising to the Prime Minister as well as Malaysians for his ill-mannered posting.
“The caption ‘Amboi posing takmau kalah no’ (‘Wow such a pose’) was not meant as an insult as some made to believe, it was simply a joke and something that should not be made on a nation’s leader,” said Zuan.
He also explained that the image was not created by himself personally and claimed that it was acquired through the mobile messaging application, WhatsApp.
