Get ready to dress up for KL Fashion Week 2015

The Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week is back! – July 31, 2015.
Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week Ready-To-Wear is returning for a third year in a row at Pavilion KL.
From 12 to 16 August 2015, Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week will put on display the creations of over 80 designers, local and international alike. They will be presenting their “Runway Collection”, exclusively shown over the five-day event.
“We are proud to welcome back a great number of designers this season as well as to be an important platform to a growing number of new designers” said Andrew Tan, founder of KL Fashion Week, at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur.
“The amount of designers showing for the first time is a great testament of the attention KL Fashion Week is receiving both on a national and international level,” he said.
Guests can expect prominent local designers like Khoon Hooi and Carven Ong as well as collections by local celebrities like Sazzy Falak and Nur Fazura.
KL Fashion Week 2015 will also feature international designers from China (Yesir), United Kingdom (James Hock), Australia (Savues), Singapore (Thomas Wee) and Indonesia (Mel Ahyar). Aside from presenting their work, Andrew also hopes to facilitate dialogue between the local and international fashion scene as well as promote our local designers on the world stage.
Apart from presenting a diverse range of the latest in the fashion world, the show's main draw will be the showcasing of up-and-coming designers.
Working with AirAsia for the AirAsia Runway Ready Designer Search 2015 to discover new creative talent, 10 young designers will be selected out of more than 300 entries.
The highlight of the competition would be when the top 3 winners are announced at12.00pm on 16 August 2015.
