TELUK INTAN: Three children were left orphans after their parents perished in an accident when a trailer lost control and crashed into their Proton Wira near here.
They also lost their grandmother.
Mohd Nazeri Abdul Razak, 45, and his wife Norzuwida Ahmad Termizi, 41, were killed on the spot at KM24 of the Jalan Teluk Intan-Chenderong Balai during the 8.20pm incident on Saturday.
Norzuwida’s mother Zalehah@Zaleha Ibrahim, 71, died on her way to the Teluk Intan Hospital.
The children - Nur Amira Shafika, 15, Muhammad Aiman Haziq, eight, and 13-month-old Muhammad Danial - suffered minor injuries and were being treated at the hospital.
The 31-year-old driver of the trailer has been arrested for investigations.
