A MAN in Kuala Lumpur has been writing love letters to woo women into bed with him before blackmailing them with videos of their sexual romps, reported China Press.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, had duped at least seven women, two of whom had paid a total of RM29,000.
The women lodged a complaint with Malaysia Community Policing Association president Kuan Chee Heng several days ago.
The Casanova, described as good-looking and masculine, would prey on his victims, including housewives, career women and even students, by sending them love letters.
Once they had responded positively to him, he would arrange to have dates with them at hotel rooms, where he recorded them having sex with him.
It is learnt that he had made 250 bookings for hotel rooms in the past three months.
Kuan said the man would only use videos without footage of him. He urged other victims to come forward and lodge police reports.
