Two men had allegedly issued the RM1,200 bounty to anyone who slaps Kok after she released her controversial Chinese New Year video Onederful Malaysia.
The video clip, starring Kok as a feng shui host interviewing three panelist, was uploaded on Jan 27 and was shared widely on Facebook.
The clip poked fun on various issues, including the current education system in the country and the terrorist intrusion in Sabah last year.
On Feb 6, about 50 people claiming to be part of the Council of Muslim NGOs protested along Jalan Tun Perak against Kok’s video offering a RM500 reward to anyone who slapped her.
The amount was later raised to RM1,200.
