3 dead in road accident in Johor

PONTIAN: Three men died while one were injured in an accident involving two motorcycles and a multi-purpose vehicle at Km 41, Jalan Pontian - Johor Baru at 6.40am today.
Pontian police chief Superintendent Zahaliman Jamin said the victims were identified as Md Hisham Md Khalil, 41, from Kampung Jeram Batu in Pekan Nanas and siblings Ang Kim Seng, 58 and Ang Kim Sai, 50, from Pontian.

Zahaliman said all the victims died at the scene after they were hit by a Nissan Grand Livina driven by an unidentified woman from Johor Baru heading to Pontian.
He said the accident took place in front of Pekan Nanas Immigration Detention centre.
"Initial investigations revealed that Md Hisham was heading toward the Port of Tanjung Pelepas while the siblings were going to Singapore," he said.
He said the woman driver was rushed to Columbia Asia Hospital in Nusajaya.
