City Fire and Rescue Department officer Sulaiman Tan Abdullah said they received a distress call on the incident at 1.25am before 41 firemen from three fire stations were despatched to the scene at Level 8, Blok H there.
“When we arrived at 1.35am, the victims had been saved by public members before they were rushed to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
“We managed to control the blaze at 1.58am, before completely putting it off,” he said.
Sulaiman said the master bedroom was badly damaged, while the unit’s kitchen was also affected.
