Brunei Darussalam’s crown prince accorded welcoming ceremony

His Royal Highness was greeted by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak upon his arrival at the square at about10.30am.
Present were Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili and several other government agencies office bearers.
The Brunei’s crown prince, who is on a five-day working visit to Malaysia since Nov 8, later inspected a guard-of-honour mounted by more than 100 soldiers from the First Battalion Royal Malay Regiment.
Pengiran Muda Mahkota Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah was also introduced to 61 ambassadors to Malaysia, who had attended the event, before he left the ceremony.
Najib and the Royal Highness proceeded to a meeting at Seri Perdana. The prime minister will also host a luncheon for his Royal guest in conjunction with the latter’s visit to Dewan Protokol at the same venue.
