Police distribute the photofit of Jaip head murder suspect

KUANTAN: Police today distribute the photofit of one of the three suspects in the murder of State Islamic Religious Department (Jaip) enforcement head Ahmad Rafli Abdul Malek.

State police chief Datuk Sharifuddin Ab Ghani said the suspect was the one who entered the victim's home and gave "salam".

He said the suspect was a stocky Malay man in his 50s and has white hair and moustache. 

However, he said there was no positive identification of the second suspect, who was believed to have shot the victim, and the third one who drove the car.

Susulan kes bunuh Ketua Penolong Pengarah (Penguatkuasaan), Jabatan Agama Islam Pahang (JAIP), Dato’ Sharifuddin Ab Ghani, Ketua Polis Pahang telah mengadakan sidang media di Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen Pahang sebentar tadi.

Lakaran wajah suspek diedarkan kepada pihak media dan turut akan dipamerkan dimerata tempat. Beliau menyeru orang ramai bekerjasama menyalurkan sebarang maklumat bagi mengesan dan menangkap penjenayah terbabit. Sebarang maklumat boleh disalurkan kepada Pegawai Penyiasat, ASP Zukri Muhammad di talian 013-9764999 atau Ibupejabat Polis Daerah Kuantan di talian 09-5652222 atau talian hotline 09-5142999 atau mana-mana balai polis berhampiran.
