Married Woman Become Sex Slaves of Medium

Married women become sex slaves

MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Seri Michael Chong said the conmen had even tricked the women into engaging in sex under the pretext of exorcising them and their properties.

"Some of the victims ended up contracting sexually-transmitted diseases," he said at MCA headquarters in Jalan Ampang yesterday.
He said that though the male victims escaped sexual abuse, they too incurred huge debts from loan sharks after believing that the mediums could help cleanse them of evil spirits and alter their fortunes.
"All the victims were superstitious in nature. They easily fell prey when friends encouraged them to seek the services of these mediums.
"While some suffered ailments or misfortune, others suspected their husbands of cheating on them.
"Their answer was to contact these crooked mediums."
He added that the women ended up drinking love potions laced with steroids and were forced to have flower baths with the mediums to beautify and cleanse them of their spirits and pains.
"They ended up as sex slaves after being blackmailed with their nude photos."
He said that in the latest case, a 48-year-old housewife, who wished to be identified only as Loo, claimed that she was conned of RM200,000 and her sister's car by a medium in Malacca.
Following a police report on Aug 20, the errant medium was nabbed.
"Loo had, on May 24, sought the medium's assistance to cure her mentally-troubled son.
"She was told that a very strong 'female spirit' was attacking her son and that her husband had a mistress.
"The only way to solve the problem was for Loo to undergo an exorcism ritual to the tune of RM80,000, which she paid after withdrawing her bank savings, pawning jewellery and obtaining loans," said Chong.
Loo was then instructed to buy a house to contain the spirit, but instead offered the medium a piece of rubber plantation land owned by her family.
Declining the offer, the medium instead demanded that Loo pay an additional RM120,000 to complete the exorcism. He also demanded her sister's car, claiming it was possessed by spirits.
