SEVERAL gunshots were heard at a campaign rally for US President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania on Sunday morning (local time).
Following that, the former US president was seen bleeding from his ear before armed law enforcement officers rushed towards him and took him away.
The Republican presidential candidate was seen raising his fist as he was escorted to a vehicle by the country's Secret Service.
Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden said he was not informed about the shooting.
Biden was met by reporters as he walked out of a church in Delaware.
Meanwhile, according to a CNN report, Trump was injured, but there were no further details.
At this time, it is not clear how or what injuries he may have suffered.
The location of the Trump rally was left with demolished chairs and yellow police tape around the stage.
A helicopter was also seen flying in the airspace of the area as the law enforcement authorities tightly controlled the situation.
