AOC Calls Out Ticketmaster After Site Crashes During Taylor Swift Tour Sales
Her fellow squad member Ilhan Omar also tweeted out criticism of the company.

The presale for Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated Eras Tour crashed the ticket-selling site almost immediately Tuesday, sending the fandom into pandemonium.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took Ticketmaster trending on Twitter as an opportunity to remind people that the site has a monopoly in the industry. She tweeted that Ticketmaster's ‘merger with LiveNation should never have been approved, and they need to be reigned in.’
Ticketmaster called the demand for Swift's tour ‘historically unprecedented’ as millions of fans queued up for presale tickets.The presale for many of the West Coast dates was postponed by several hours, and the Capital One presale was pushed back until Wednesday, according to a tweet from the ticketing company.
In addition to Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, fellow Squad member Rep. Ilhan Omar also issued a tweet criticizing Ticketmaster as well:
