More than 50% of the adult population in Malaysia have been vaccinated with 2 Doses, 2 Weeks Ahead Of Schedule

 

As of yesterday, 18 August, JKJAV reported that we have passed the 50% mark for adult second dose recipients. The number of adults who have received their second dose is now 11,743,096.

This result puts the country’s vaccination effort ahead of schedule by about two weeks, with the initial target being 50% at the end of the month.

Adults who have received their first dose total at 75.3% (17,625,760)
