A Famous Comedian in his 40's, Suspected of being a PIMP was Arrested by Police. Comedian Tauke Upset that Social Media has linked his name to this Case
A famous comedian is suspected of being a pimp was arrested by the police after he was allegedly involved in human trafficking activities for the purpose of sexual exploitation at Melang Inn hotel in Kuala Pilah on Sunday.
Kuala Pilah District Police Chief Superintendent Amran Mohd Ghani informed that the 45-year-old man was arrested in an Ops Pintas raid by the Criminal Investigation Division (JSJ) of the Kuala Pilah District Headquarters (IPD) at 10am.
During the raid, the police also rescued a woman from becoming a victim of human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
“Through Ops Pintas, we managed to arrest a man and save a woman of Melanau descent from becoming a victim of human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
"The investigation is conducted in accordance with the Section of the Anti -Trafficking in Persons and Anti -Smuggling of Migrants Act (ATIPSOM) 2007 which provides for imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 years and also punishable by a fine,"
Police also seized a Perodua Axia, several packages of condoms, a sum of cash and four mobile phones.
“The suspect was remanded for four days while the rescued victim received a temporary protection order and was placed in a shelter in Johor.
"The suspect was also compounded for cross-state offenses without permission in accordance with the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures in Local Areas of Infection) (National Rehabilitation Plan) Regulations 2021," he said.
However, further investigations into the case are still underway to identify the scope of human trafficking activities.

Meanwhile, the name of comedian Tauke or Zamatul Amri Zakaria, 45, has been linked to this case on social media
Citing Gempak's report, Tauke was upset when his name was linked to this human trafficking case.
According to the runner -up of Maharaja Lawak Mega 2012, he was upset because his name was mentioned by netizens as the suspect who was detained to assist in the investigation.
“What do you want to do, this person has a mouth, we really can't stand it. We can't chop his hand so that he doesn't write nonsense
"People have the right to type anything. We just have to be calm what else can we do? I don't even know what to say.
"When the news came out, I noticed that netizens mentioned my name linking me to the case" he said.
