KUANTAN – The police are in the midst of identifying the Facebook account owner of ‘DuaEmpat LapanSatu’ to assist into an allegation of altering interstate travel permit.
The Bentong District Police Chief, Superintendent Zaiham Mohd Kahar said, the police found a viral post in the social media stating that a person’s permit has been altered by the police during a roadblock at Bentong.
“The Facebook account owner alleged that his interstate travel permit approved by the police from 11 until 17 May has been reduced to a day through a roadblock at the Bentong Toll, Kuantan bound.
“Therefore, the account owner is requested to contact the police so that further investigation can be done,” he said in a statement today.
The Facebook entry has gone viral. According to Zaiham, the invidual may contact the Bentong District Police Headquarters (IPD) at 09-222 2222 or contact him directly. – MalaysiaGazette
