PETALING JAYA: The Raja Permaisuri Agong says she was taking photographs with her phone during the National Day parade as requested by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah tweeted this following criticism from a certain person on Twitter.


"The King asked me to take photos... I only followed the (King's) command," she tweeted on her Twitter account (@cheminahsayang) after a Twitter user Finalana (@Finalana1) said the Queen was "behaving like a small child and taking pictures during the parade".

The user also wrote "could you not have just sat down properly like a queen who is appreciating the event. Like rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. (sic)"


Tunku Azizah also thanked Finalana for the comment made.

At the time of writing, the Queen's tweet had received over 6,200 Likes and retweeted over 4,200 times. Many people applauded Tunku Azizah and supported her.

Twitter used ctazurah (@ctazurah2) tweeted,"We love our queen... just be urself tuanku."

Another user Mohd Nasiruddin (@recca83) advised Tunku Azizah to ignore such people.

"Kami rakyat suka dengan cara Tuanku sekarang yg bersahaja. (We the people like the way Tuanku is casual)" he added.

Rahah Ghazali (@rahah_ghazali) tweeted "Very sad to see our Queen's humility and kindness abused by rakyat yang kurang adab (rude)."

Some Twitter users have slammed Finalana for making such a statement. A check by The Star found that the tweet by Finalana has been deleted.
