Deepak’s statement taken, more to follow soon, says top cop on Altantuya case

KUALA LUMPUR: Top cop Mohamad Fuzi Harun says police have recorded the statement of businessman Deepak Jaikishan over his allegations linking former prime minister Najib Razak and his wife Rosmah Mansor to the murder of Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu.
“We have recorded statements from some, including Deepak. The rest will follow soon,” he said in a press conference after launching an anti-corruption seminar here today.
“We can’t give an exact timeline for the questioning as we need to set appointments for the interviews,” he added.
However, he assured that the case would be settled as soon as possible
