GEORGE TOWN: A 14-year-old girl claims that she was gang-raped by three teenage boys who will be sitting for their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia exams soon.

The Form Two girl said one of them had asked her out for a meal with his two other friends.


The boys, all 17, then brought her to an apartment in the Bayan Lepas area and took turns to force themselves on her.

She was ordered not to tell anyone about it or they would leak video footage of the purported act to other students.

Balik Pulau OCPD Supt A.A. Anba­lagan said an initial probe revealed that the alleged incident took place in July, but the girl only lodged a police report on Wednesday night.

“We have detained the boys, who will be remanded until Monday, to facilitate investigations.

“They were detained on Thurs­day,” he said, adding that the case was being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape.
