Police detain 11 teenagers in Johor for raping Form One student

BATU PAHAT: Police have detained 11 boys for raping a Form One student in Ayer Hitam.
Batu Pahat OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Wahib Musa said the suspects aged between 13 and 17 were detained in an operation codenamed Op Remaja that ran from Wednesday (August 1) to Sunday (August 5).
"Four of them were detained at their schools and seven at their homes," said ACP Abdul Wahib.
He said they were detained following information from the Sultanah Nora Ismail Hospital that a 13-year old was believed to have been raped.
The case is being investigated under Section 375 of the Penal Code.
