PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices will go up by four sen from midnight Wednesday.
The new prices for RON95 will be RM2.12 (from RM2.08) per litre, RON97 at RM2.40 (RM2.36), and diesel from RM1.99 to RM2.03 per litre.
The new prices will come into effect from May 25 until May 31.
The prices were announced on RTM1 and posted on the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry’s Twitter account on Wednesday evening.
The weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect from April this year.
The prices of petrol and diesel had been placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1, 2014, following the removal of fuel subsidies.
