From 26 May to 24 June 2017, Gobo Chit Chat, Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur features Citarasa Santapan Buffet Dinner promotion.

BEST FBKL had a brief taste of what to expect at the Citarasa Santapan Buffet Dinner promotion.

With all the food that was available from Japanese to BBQ dishes the dish that blew the three of us away  was the humble bubur lambuk and sup ekor combination! Sometimes keeping it simple can give you the biggest smile and satisfaction.

Bubur Lambuk and Sup Ekor - Try it together, the flavors will explode in your mouth



One of the highlights in the buffet is The Chef's Signature Bamboo Lamb Biryani where basmathi rice  and spices are cooked in bamboo.

A section that is going to be very popular  with diners is the goreng goreng section. Where you will have fried chicken, fried King Prawns, Fried Hati and Otak Otak.

Another main highlight in the buffet is the grill section which showcases some of the freshest seafood cooked to your liking where grilled or pan fried or with a broth. The Grilled Sting Ray and King Prawns were awesome. The Fare here is so fresh that it is almost talking to you

The Appetiser counter has a bit of everything for everyone so you are bound to find something that you like.


 Traditional Malay cuisine that is available - just like how Nenek will cook them included Lemang Pulut Hitam, Ketupat, Serunding Daging, Kerabu Kaki Ayam, Sengkuang Calit, Sup Gearbox, live roti canai and murtabak station.

A must try  is the Gulai Lemak Ikan Keli















There are a couple of Chinese dishes for those who love duck, fish and chicken - Chinese Style



The buffet also offers a good selection of great tasting western dishes. 





For those who love Japanese, they do have a decent Japanese section that will satisfy your hunger. The abalone is a must try!


They have an array of Malay Traditional Kuih or Pastries.They have quite a variety of traditional and modern cakes,


The Crepe's are delicious combine them with the Ice Cream and you will be in seventh heaven.


The bubur section is another highlight with Bubur Kacang Hijau and kacang Merah, Bubur pengat pisang and the best of all Bubur Pengat Durian.



Get ready for an Ice Cream Fiesta. One of the highlight of this buffet must certainly be the free flow New Zealand Natural ice cream, They have 12 awesome flavors. Our favourites were Vanilla Mango Passion Fruit, Macadamia Supreme and Forestberry.




For those who love their ABC, there is a Air Batu Campur section.


They have a good selection of local fruits.


You have a good selection of Cold Drinks like Air Tebu, Bandung, Lychee and Limau to wash down all the tasty food and too end it all they do a good Teh Tarik



Overall if you want some simple good tasting kampung flavors this is one of the places to visit for your buka puasa during this Ramadan


The Citarasa Santapan buffet dinner is priced at RM125 nett per adult for the 1st & 2nd week (26 May to 9 June 2017) and RM135 nett per adult for the 3rd & 4th week (10 June to 24 June 2017).
