Couple alleged to have assaulted, filmed recruits nude surrender to cops
PETALING JAYA: The couple who allegedly molested and filmed two female employees nude have turned themselves in.
Nikkie and Brenda Tan were sought by police after the employee lodged a police report against them.
Sentul OCPD Asst Comm R. Munusamy said Brenda turned herself in around 4.30pm Tuesday and Nikkie at 8pm on Tuesday.
The employee, who wanted to be known only as Lee, alleged in a press conference held by MCA Public Services and Complaints Department chief Datuk Seri Michael Chong that she and her colleague were accused of stealing money from the employer.
She said they were forced to strip naked before her employer took a video of them.
She also said that she was hit with an aerosol can and had a taser gun used on her.
Lee, 28, said she was forced into another room and blindfolded before having something shoved into her private parts.
She and her colleague Tan, 24, had just landed jobs as web marketing administrators after an interview on April 21 by the employer, who said he ran a gambling website.
The employer provided accommodation at an apartment in Kepong, where they had to work to operate the website.
Lee said that on May 7 she called her employer to ask him to deposit cash into the company account.
However, at about 3am on May 8, she said he came to the apartment with his wife and several other men and accused the two employees and another colleague of stealing RM18,000.
“We explained there was no such thing as all the transactions were made online.
“But he refused to listen and got angry,” Tan said.
