Photographer’s bag mistaken for bomb

KUALA LUMPUR: A bag which was left outside of a hotel ballroom raised the alarm bells when it was feared that the bag contained a bomb.

Dang Wangi district police chief ACP Zainol Samah(pic) said that a disposable bomb unit from the Dang Wangi headquarters was sent to the scene and they found the bag containing only a camera.

He said, the bag was claimed by a part-time photographer who was on duty, covering an event attended by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, inside the ballroom. - Bernama
