Brawl Broke Out Between Motorcyclists In Johor-Singapore Causeway, Netizens Make Racial Slurs
After the Low Yat brawl that sparked racial tension between the Malays and the Chinese, another video has emerged viral showing a fight between two motorcyclists that occured at the Johor-Singapore causeway, yesterday.
In a 40 seconds clip posted online, a gang of motorcyclists are seen huddling at the side of the road of the causeway that links the Straits of Johor to the town of Woodlands in Singapore.
The clip starts off showing one man clad in a red and black jacket attacking another who was dressed in a beige shirt. The two were filmed punching each other non-stop.
But what’s more surprising to see is that only one person tries to break the two off from their fight while the rest of the men did not interfere.
Some stood around, whereas others sat on their motorbikes as mere spectators, laughing and enjoying the kerfuffle.
A few seconds later, the man in beige gets some assistance from a man who knocks down his rival with a helmet.
As he falls to the ground, he is still constantly being hit. The footage ends abruptly as the fallen victim rises up.
Although the cause of the commotion is unknown, many netizens left comments analysing the situation, deeming it a common situation for motorcyclists to rush their way into the check point, and offensively cut queues.
Through the video, many made speculations and even left racial comments accusing the Chinese of attacking the Malays.
However, some comments indicate that the victim who had his back facing the camera is an Indian man.
