BESUT: What was initially a raid to detect drugs at a house in Jabi on Monday ended instead with the seizure of smut.
A police team seized 513 pornographic digital video discs (DVDs) from the house in Kampung Renek and detained a 47-year-old labourer.
Besut police chief Supt Khaled Che Lah said the DVDs of various titles were found in a corner of the house.
He said police initially raided the house to detect drugs.
"However, we ended up seizing the DVDs from the suspect who was neither a drug pusher nor an addict," he told a press conference here Tuesday. – Bernama
