PETALING JAYA: Another video of a school student being bullied and humiliated is going viral on social media.
The clip, which was posted on the “Friends of Barisan Nasional” Facebook page at 7.30pm on Sunday, has since garnered over 800 comments criticising and condemning the act.
The video has been viewed over 48,000 times and shared more than 2,000 times.
The incident is understood to have taken place in the Surau (prayer room) of an unidentified school.
In the video, which lasts for almost six minutes, a boy in a brown uniform is seen being brutally kicked and hit by several other boys.
Throughout the video, the bullies can be seen taking turns to run around the victim and hit him. Most of the hits were to his neck and back.
The bullies who were clearly a lot smaller than the victim also sprayed him with water and wiped his mouth with a sock in addition to dragging him around by his leg.
Loud laughter could be heard in the video while none of the boys who were looking on came to help.
At one point one bully held the victim’s hands while another kicked him in the stomach repeatedly. This happened multiple times over the course of the six minutes.
Towards the end of the video, the bullies can be seen hitting the victim with a small hammer and later climbing on him to kick him.
Those with information about the incident are encouraged to report it to the police.
