Dramatic Accident Between SUV And Sedan Caught On Camera In Singapore

SINGAPORE - A dramatic car accident involving two vehicles that collided twice was caught on camera by an in-vehicle video recording device.

The video was taken by a third vehicle that was driving behind the sedan. At the 13 second mark, the black SUV is seen speeding up and entering the camera frame. The sedan signals about 50m ahead to filter right into its lane. The two vehicles collide at the 22 second mark before separating and colliding again at the 34 second mark.

The sedan spins clockwise and comes to a halt in front of the SUV. The SUV stops and the car with the camera drives past the scene, capturing an image of a severely dented sedan.

The footage was posted by Chinese evening daily Lianhe Wanbao on their Facebook page. The paper reported that the video appears to have been taken on October 27 at 1pm or so.

The incident is believed to have taken place along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5.
