Police release picture of suspect in Baby Freddie kidnapping
KUALA LUMPUR: Police have released a picture of a man believed to be the suspect in the kidnapping of 20-month-old Freddie in Bangsar on Friday.
City police CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Ku Chin said the suspect, believed to be in his 30s, has fair complexion and around 168cm tall.
He confirmed that Freddie was found in Taman Tasik Titiwangsa on Saturday and has been reunited with the mother.
He said the baby was found at about 1.20pm by a retiree.
"The man then called the police. We then brought the boy to the Jalan Tun Razak police station and called his mother," SAC Ku told a press conference.
SAC Ku said that the boy did not look scared or was crying for food when he was found.
"He looked fine but we will still send him to the hospital for a check-up," he said adding that the Freddie was found in the same clothes he was wearing when he was grabbed by a man who burst into his mother's home.
