XIAOMI yesterday officially launched their first electric car called Xiaomi SU7 for the Chinese market, thus allowing consumers in China to start buying the vehicle.

A total of three variations are offered, at prices starting at 215,900 Yuan, which is around RM141,500.

Xiaomi aims to start shipping to buyers from the end of April 2024. The Xiaomi SU7 comes in three variations of offerings.


The most basic model is offered at a price of 215,900 Yuan or around RM141,500 which offers a driving range of 700 kilometers.

This basic model car also offers a speed of up to 210km/h, as well as an acceleration of 400Nm. Complementing this vehicle is also the Xiaomi Pilot Pro ADAS which is a self-driving system powered by the NVIDIA Drive Orin chip.

The Xiaomi SU7 Pro model comes with a driving distance of 830 kilometers. While the Xiaomi SU7 Max comes with a driving distance of 800 kilometers but with a speed of 265km/h and is supported by the Xiaomi Pilot Max self-driving system.

With this introduction step, it will at once show Xiaomi starting to generate finance from products under the automotive category - further diversifying the income of the technology company.

For now, it is still unknown Xiaomi's plans regarding the offering of the vehicle outside of China
