ISTANBUL: The number of victims of an attack at a concert hall in the Moscow region, Russia rose to 143 people, according to the country's Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergency Relief and Disaster Relief.
According to data from Russia's Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergency Relief and Disaster Relief said late Wednesday that 143 people were listed as having died at 8.15pm local time, Anadolu Agency reported.
"The list will be adjusted based on forensic medical research data," he said.
Earlier, Russia's Investigative Committee told the country's TASS news agency that the federal investigative body had received 143 reports from victims about missing their relatives or loved ones during the attack.
Last Friday, a group of armed men opened fire indiscriminately at Crocus City Hall, Krasnogorsk in the Moscow Region.
The committee detained 11 people, including four suspects at the border of Bryansk Region.
The four suspects were charged in the Basmanny District Court, Moscow last Sunday on charges of violence and the court allowed them to be detained until May 22 pending trial.
