KUALA LUMPUR: A newborn baby boy with his umbilical cord still attached was found dead after he was believed to have been thrown from a high floor of a condominium in Sri Petaling, on Saturday.
According to Brickfields District Police Chief, ACP Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood, he received a report from the public at 2.30pm.
"The baby is believed to have been thrown or thrown from a high position and resulted in the unfortunate man's head being broken.
"It is understood that the baby was just born as it still has the umbilical cord.
"The baby was confirmed dead at the scene," he said in a statement, on Saturday.
He said that the police team is still at the scene of the incident and is investigating the case further
