DIRECTOR of the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (JSJ), Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain issued a stern warning against his officers who are believed to be conspiring with certain crime syndicates.
According to him, there are police officers who are allegedly willing to sacrifice the lives of their own friends in order to get a reward from the criminal group.
"You are willing to sell the life of another friend of yours because of the meager remuneration you get from the syndicate.
"In other words, in this team, some will kill each other because of money," he said in a video of the speech which was also shared on the official Facebook page of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) on Saturday.
The ceremony was attended by the Heads of the Contingent Criminal Investigation Department (KJSJ), the Heads of the District Criminal Investigation Division (KBSJD) all over Malaysia.
According to Shuhaily, these things can happen because there are superior officers who are believed to not carry out the responsibilities and monitoring that should be done.
In fact, he explained, there were also cases when the officer himself conspired with his members to carry out his activities which he described as a betrayal of the security and order of the country.
"There is no supervision below to keep an eye on how these boys live. A sergeant can use Alphard, Vellfire and Mercedes. Do you question them?
Through the disclosure which certain parties described as something that has become an open secret or 'open secret' among the police officers, Shuhaily also warned about the action to be taken against his members who failed to carry out their duties properly.
Among them is imposing a change of duties, in addition to being given a recommendation notice not to be promoted.
"This is because they do not deserve to be given the responsibility of supervising others with a higher rank while even with the existing rank you fail," he said
