Actor who drove a Myvi Car recklessly on MRR2 until his lover was thrown out arrested by the police

A male part-time actor who drove recklessly on Jalan Lingkaran Tengah 2, Hulu Klang yesterday afternoon, was arrested by the police today.


Ampang Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Farouk Esha said, in the incident at 5.30pm, the passenger of the Perodua Myvi suffered minor injuries after being thrown from the car.

He said the accident was believed to have occurred when the 30-year-old suspect who

was driving a Perodua Myvi recklessly by changing lanes in a zig-zag pattern.

"The suspect also lost control and hit the left side of a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) type Toyota Innova," he said in a statement today.


He explained that the two motorists involved had come to make a report this afternoon

and the Myvi driver was arrested for further investigation.

"The remand application will be made tomorrow and the case will be investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987," he said.

Accordingly, witnesses are asked to come forward to assist in the investigation by contacting Investigating Officer Inspector Nur Nadzirah Abdul Rahim at 012-4401093.
