PUTRAJAYA: Ex-Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak arrived at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) MACC headquarters at 9.40am on Thursday (Nov 8) after being summoned again for questioning.

The Pekan MP came in a Proton Perdana bearing the plate "TN50", entering the building via a back entrance.

An MACC source confirmed that Najib had been asked to show up Thursday, to assist in investigation into “several” unspecified cases.

One of them is on the solar panel project for schools in rural Sarawak, allegedly worth RM1.25bil and awarded to a Bintulu-based company.

Several individuals have already been summoned for questioning over the case, including former Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid, as well as Najib's former special officer.

The ex-special officer was remanded for a total of six days as part of the probe.

It is alleged that the former officer had solicited money from the company that was awarded the contract.

Before his appearance at the MACC headquaters,Najib was at the Kuala Lumpur Court earlier in the morning to accompany his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, who attended a mention of her money-laundering cases.

He left the court complex at 9.15am and headed straight for the MACC headquarters here.
