Former district police chief, family members remanded over RM70,000 bribes
IPOH: A former district police chief and two female family members have been remanded for five days for alleged receiving bribes from a businesswoman amounting to RM70,000
They were in handcuffs and wearing orange lock-up attire.
A Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) spokesman who confirmed the matter said the three suspects were arrested under Section 16(a)(A) of the MACC Act 2009 at the state MACC headquarters here after giving their statements at about 7.30pm on Thursday.
