KLANG: A mother of two, who had lost contact with her family since two years ago, was found murdered and her body abandoned under the pedestrian bridge in Jalan Raja Nong near SK Kampung Jawa 2 here.
The 37-year-old woman from Pandamaran was found half naked with her short pants and underwear lowered to her ankles by a passerby at about 7.40am Monday (Dec 18).
South Klang OCPD Asst Comm Shamsul Amar Ramli said a 54-year-old man and two others have been picked up to assist in the investigation.
He said the victim had bruises on her right eye and a swollen forehead.
"They have two daughters, aged 10 and 15, who are being cared by the victim's younger sister in Shah Alam.
"The younger sister had lodged a report on March 10 that she would take care of the children because the victim had been missing since 2015," ACP Shamsul said.
The victim has a record for drug-related offence last year and was believed to have been killed elsewhere before her body was dumped at the scene.
Her body has been sent to the Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah for a post mortem.
