Indian Superstar Rajinikanth here for the shooting of his latest movie Kabali gives unique recognition to Malaysia Major Events Head Tony Nagamaiah

Tony Nagamaiah, GM of Malaysia Major Events an agency under the Ministry of Tourism & Culture has recently been recognized for his efforts in working together with the Indian film fraternity to showcase Malaysia as a tourism destination via movies, awards, concerts and cultural programs. 

Among the big achievements under his leadership in recent years are successfully staging world class Indian awards such as International Indian Film Awards (IIFA) 2015 & South Indian Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2014. Malaysia has also seen big concert productions from India such as Sharukh Khan, Anirudh, Ilayaraja to name a few.

Nagamaiah was given the recognition by none other than India's biggest movie superstar Mr. Rajinikanth who is in Malaysia to shoot his movie "Kabali" witnessed by the Minister of Tourism & Culture Dato Seri Nazri Aziz. 

80% of the movie will be filmed in Malaysia showcasing our tourism destinations throughout the country and will be released to over a million cinemas in various different languages across India and the world in 2016.
