A man arrested yesterday for an investigation into the acid spill case against national football player, Faisal Halim at a supermarket near Kota Damansara has been remanded today.
Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said, the suspect in his 20s was arrested in Pandan Indah, Ampang.
"Investigations are still underway to find out the motive of the incident.

"So far the police have recorded the statements of three individuals including the victim (Faisal)," he said.
It is understood that in the incident on Sunday, the Selangor FC player was approached by two individuals on a motorcycle before acid was thrown on him.
Faisal was then rushed to a private hospital in Petaling Jaya and his condition was reported to be stable.
Following that, the police have opened investigation papers under Section 326 of the Penal Code.
