A man was stabbed to death by his lover who was a part-time model in an incident at a condominium unit in Kota Kemuning here on Monday.
It is understood that the cause of the incident is believed to be motivated by jealousy because the victim, who is a part-time photographer, was accused of cheating
The suspect, who is also a former medical student, was successfully apprehended by police officers around the Cyberjaya Hospital area after he was believed to have taken his lover to the hospital for treatment.
Kuala Langat District Police Chief, Superintendent Ahmad Ridhwan Mohd Nor@Saleh said the previous report was made at 9.41am by the doctor who received the victim at the hospital.
"The doctor found that the victim was brought from a private clinic. The doctor then gave emergency breathing assistance (CPR) to the victim but there was no response.
"The victim was later confirmed dead at 7.25am due to stab wounds on the left wrist and left leg," he said in a statement on Tuesday.
He said, the results of the investigation later led to the arrest of a local woman suspect in the Cyberjaya Hospital area.
"The 26-year-old suspect was arrested at about 12.30pm by members and officers of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Kuala Langat District Police Headquarters.
"The check found that the suspect does not have any past criminal record," he said.
According to him, the suspect is now remanded for six days for further investigation.
"The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code," he said
