Padang SNBJ: PSM engages experts to face the Ed Sheeran concert, World Cup Qualification
The surface of the Bukit Jalil National Stadium (SNBJ) field was once again used to host a concert by international artist, Ed Sheeran at the stadium, today.
Work on dismantling the equipment from the concert will begin immediately after the concert ends and work on the field will begin immediately after.
The Malaysian Stadium Corporation (PSM) has involved Labosport in preparing the Bukit Jalil National Stadium field for the Ed Sheeran concert to be held on Saturday and Malaysia's World Cup Qualifying match against Oman on March 26.
In a media statement, PSM said, as an initial step, it has moved 1,900 square meters of grass to accommodate the stage and audio system tower in accordance with Ed Sheeran's " world tour " theme. The transplanted grass is now given intensive care including irrigation and fertilizing so that the health of the grass is at an optimal level.
In addition, PSM is ready to use grass from the nursery, if necessary.
The existing nursery has a grass area of over 2,000 square meters to cover the needs of the SNBJ field.
Work on dismantling the equipment from the concert will begin immediately after the concert ends and work on the field will begin immediately after.
