KLUANG: The police confirmed receiving a report regarding the incident of a six-month-old baby boy who was injured and suspected to have been bitten by the nanny's child as it went viral on social media.

Kluang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Bahrin Mohd Noh said, a review found that a police report was made by the baby's mother at 5.30pm, last Wednesday.

"The report was made by the woman regarding the case of a six-month-old child with bite marks on the body suspected to have been bitten by the nanny's three-year-old child.

"As a result of the investigation, the nanny is a local woman in her 20s has been identified and the conversation will be recorded on Monday to assist the investigation," he said in a statement on Sunday.

According to Bahrin, the case will be investigated under Section 31(1)(a) of the Children's Act 2001 which can be punished with imprisonment of up to 20 years and a fine of RM50,000 or both, if convicted.

Before that, a woman who is believed to be the baby's mother through a post on Facebook on Sunday without revealing the location of the nanny's home shared the incident that happened to her baby.

"The first day at the nanny's home ended with a painful tragedy for me and the children. Baby Luth who was only six months old was bitten by the nanny's child.




"More than eight bites until the bloody skin on the shirt was torn," she wrote.

In addition, another of her sons was allegedly slapped
