PN's Rina Harun To Contest in Sepang
PETALING JAYA - The incumbent of the Titiwangsa parliamentary seat, Datuk Seri Rina Harun has confirmed that she will contest the Sepang parliamentary seat in the 15th General Election (GE15) on 19 November.
The seat was previously held by a representative from Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah), Datuk Hanifah Maidin when he defeated two other candidates in GE14 in May 2018.
The matter was announced by the Chairman of Perikatan Nasional (PN), Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin a while ago when he attended the Sepang Parliament Concern Tour Program at Dataran Sadiman, Bukit Changgang here.
The announcement also answered rumors that Rina would contest in Sepang in GE15 and leave the Titiwangsa Parliament which she won in GE14.
In GE14, Rina who ran on the Bersatu ticket under Pakatan Harapan managed to wrest the Titiwangsa parliamentary seat from its incumbent, Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani who represented Barisan Nasional (BN) at the time.
