AZALINA Othman Said participated in a program with residents at PDK Mas Timur, Felda Papan Timur, Kota Tinggi, today.

KOTA TINGGI: Voters are reminded not to be easily deceived by the sweet promises of the manifesto offered by Perikatan Nasional (PN), but instead measure all the successes brought by the Barisan Nasional (BN) government over the years.

UMNO Supreme Council member, Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said also disputed the implementation of the promises offered by the party during the 14th General Election (GE14) which were not fulfilled.

"I don't want to comment on the many manifestos,  but when some of the them were with the government 22 months ago, GE14 they did not fulfill most of the promises in the manifesto.

"Everyone can make a promise. BN from independence until now, what we promise we did

Just like the state of Johor, in the seven months we have ruled, what we promised we did do it.

"Voters should not be deceived by sweet promises. We measure the development brought, the success given. I am in Pengerang, all the successes are from the BN government," She said when met after visiting the Mas Timur Community Rehabilitation Center (PDK) in Felda Papan Timur, today.

Last night PN launched the 'PN BEST Offer' manifesto with the theme 'Prihatin, Bersih dan Stabil' with 30 approaches and 234 offers.

Azalina, who is also the BN candidate for the Pengerang Parliament seat, also disputed whether everyone in the PN is really clean like the theme of their manifesto.

"Are they all clean? The important thing is to let the people decide. For me, BN has a track record. They have a track record, I don't want to say much, even Batu Putih we lost the sovereignty, ask who is responsible.

"My hope is that the people of Pengerang and the people of Johor understand that BN is a government that can bring stability to bring more prosperity," he said
