COVID-19: 3,436 new infections, eight deaths recorded
33,965 active cases were recorded and of that number 32,107 cases or 94.5 percent of them are undergoing home quarantine.
KUALA LUMPUR: New infections of COVID-19 on Thursday again recorded an increase.
Data on the KKMNOW portal revealed that yesterday's infection cases were 3,436 cases compared to 3,267 cases recorded the previous day.
Meanwhile, a total of eight deaths due to COVID-19 were recorded yesterday.
No cases of death occurred outside the hospital facility or 'brought-in-dead' (BID).
Meanwhile, 33,965 active cases were recorded and of that number 32,107 cases or 94.5 percent of them are undergoing quarantine at home.
No patients were placed in the quarantine center (PKRC), while 1,766 patients received treatment in the hospital.
92 of them were placed in the intensive care unit (ICU) while 60 of them needed a ventilator.
The country also recorded 4,292 recovered cases.
