Takiyuddin was hospitalized, underwent heart surgery

PETALING JAYA: Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Parliament and Law), Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan was reported to have been admitted to hospital last Friday.
Sources told Utusan Malaysia, it is believed that it is due to heart health problems suffered by the PAS secretary -general so that he had to undergo surgery for three hours.
It was also reported that he was admitted to a hospital in the Klang Valley, the IHEAL Medical Center, next to Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur.
“Datuk Seri Takiyuddin underwent an angiogram yesterday for 3 hours because there were three places that were blocked.
"However, the situation is stable and it is believed he will be discharged tomorrow," he said.
Last week, Takiyuddin was pressured by the opposition over the issue of the repealing of the Emergency Ordinance which he briefly explained on the first day of the Special Session of the Dewan Rakyat.
Takiyuddin said the government had decided not to advise the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to continue the Proclamation of Emergency which would end on August 1.
He added that the government also decided based on Article 150 (3) of the Federal Constitution, all ordinances that had been made during the Proclamation of Emergency period were revoked on July 21, 2021.
