Kenyataan Akhbar KPK 14 Julai 2020 – Situasi Semasa Jangkitan Penyakit Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) di Malaysia
STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH
Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat empat (4) kes yang telah pulih dan dibenarkan discaj pada hari ini. Jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 dan telah discaj daripada wad adalah sebanyak 8,524 kes (97.7 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).
STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA
Sehingga 14 Julai 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, terdapat empat (4) kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan. Ini menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 8,729 kes. Oleh itu, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 adalah 83 kes. Mereka telah diasingkan dan diberi rawatan
Ingin dimaklumkan semua empat (4) kes baharu yang dilaporkan adalah kes import yang telah mendapat jangkitan di luar negara yang melibatkan tiga (3) orang warganegara Malaysia dan satu (1) bukan warganegara (pemastautin atau dibenarkan masuk ke Malaysia di atas urusan kerja).
Sehingga kini, terdapat enam (6) kes positif COVID-19 yang sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU). Dua (2) kes memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.
Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa tiada pertambahan kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19 dilaporkan pada hari ini. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah kekal sebanyak 122 kes (1.39 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).
STATUS TERKINI KLUSTER PUI NOVGOROD
KKM ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat dua (2) lagi kes positif COVID-19 yang telah dikesan dalam Kluster PUI Novgorod. Satu (1) kes merupakan kontak rapat kepada kes indeks kluster ini semasa mereka di Novgorod, Rusia (iaitu kes ke-8673). Kes ini telah dikesan berkait dengan kluster ini hasil siasatan lanjut yang telah dijalankan kepada kes-kes positif COVID-19 yang sedia ada.
Satu (1) lagi kes pula adalah kes baharu yang telah dilaporkan hari ini (iaitu kes import dari Rusia – kes ke-8727). Beliau tiba di Malaysia pada 13 Julai 2020 dan dikesan positif semasa ujian RTK-Antigen di Pintu Masuk Antarabangsa. Beliau kemudiannya telah diasingkan dan dibawa ke Hospital Sungai Buloh untuk rawatan. Didapati, beliau juga merupakan kontak rapat kes ke-8673 dan kes ke-8718 di Novgorod, Rusia.
Sehingga 14 Julai 2020 jam 12 tengah hari, sebanyak 22 orang telah disaring termasuk lima (5) kes positif dalam kluster ini. Semua 17 orang kontak rapat setakat ini juga telah disampel dan dikesan negatif COVID-19. Daripada jumlah kontak rapat ini, 13 orang telah dikenalpasti dari pesawat yang dinaiki dan empat (4) orang ahli keluarga kepada kes ke-8718 dan kes ke-8724. Tiga (3) kes positif sedang dirawat di Hospital Sungai Buloh dan dua (2) kes positif dirawat di Hospital Melaka. Satu (1) daripada kes di Hospital Melaka tersebut adalah di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU).
Siasatan lanjut dan aktiviti pengesanan kontak rapat kes positif baharu dalam kluster ini sedang diteruskan, termasuk kontak terdekat di dalam pesawat. Arahan aktiviti nyah kuman dan pembersihan kapal terbang telah dikeluarkan oleh Pejabat Kesihatan Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) kepada syarikat penerbangan kapal terbang pada 13 Julai 2020. Anak-anak kapal yang berurusan dengan kes positif juga dimaklumkan supaya menjalani saringan kesihatan. Punca jangkitan kluster ini adalah masih dalam siasatan.
NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19
Pihak KKM menyeru agar orang ramai terus kekal waspada dan amalkan nasihat-nasihat kesihatan yang disarankan oleh KKM iaitu:
- Elakkan 3S / 3C:iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).
- Amalkan 3W:iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), sangat digalakkan memakai alat pelitup separuh muka (penutup hidung dan mulut – facemask) di tempat awam atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:
- Elakkan bersalaman / bersentuhan;
- Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
- Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
- Duduk di rumah dan elakkan kunjung-mengunjung;
- Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.
Selain itu, ingatlah kepada S.O.P, iaitu:
- S:Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Pemulihan (PKPP);
- O:Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
- P:Penjarakan sosial (social distancing) diamalkan pada setiap masa iaitu sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter.
KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

UPDATES ON THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)
SITUATION IN MALAYSIA

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered
The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that four (4) cases have recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 8,524 confirmed COVID-19 cases have recovered (97.7% of total cumulative cases).
Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia
14 July 2020, 12 pm – A total of four (4) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,729 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 83 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.
All four (4) additional cases reported today are imported cases who were infected overseas, involving three (3) Malaysians and one (1) non-Malaysian (permanent resident or allowed to enter Malaysia for work).
Currently, six (6) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICUs) and two (2) patients are on ventilation support.
Fortunately, no additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 122 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.39% of total cumulative cases).
Current Status of the Novgorod PUI Cluster
MOH would like to inform that two (2) additional confirmed COVID-19 case have been detected in the Novgorod PUI Cluster. One (1) case is a close contact with the index case (Case 8,673) in Novgorod, Russia, who was detected from the investigation of confirmed COVID-19 cases of this cluster.
The other additional case reported today (Case 8,727) is also an imported case. The case arrived in Malaysia on 13 July 2020 and the RTK-Antigen test at the International Port of Entry was found to be positive. The case was isolated and taken to Sungai Buloh Hospital for treatment. Investigation found that the case was also a close contact to Case 8,673 and Case 8,718 in Novgorod, Russia.
As of 14 July 2020, 12 pm, a total of 22 individuals have been screened including the five (5) confirmed COVID-19 cases in this cluster. All 17 close contacts have been tested and found to be negative for COVID-19. Of these close contacts, 13 individuals were identified as travelers of the same flight, and 4 individuals are family members to Case 8,718 and Case 8,724. Three (3) of these cases are hospitalised at Sungai Buloh Hospital and two (2) cases are hospitalised at Melaka Hospital. One (1) of the case at Melaka Hospital is currently in the ICU.
Further investigation and close contact tracing of the additional confirmed COVID-19 cases are still ongoing, including the close contacts in the same flight. A directive for cleaning and disinfection of the affected aircraft has been issued by the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Health Office to the airline on 13 July 2020. The flight crew members who interacted with the confirmed cases have been informed to undergo health screening. The cause of infection for this cluster is still under investigation.
Health Advisory on COVID-19
MOH urges the public to continue to remain vigilant and to practice all of the health advisories issued by the MOH, that includes:
- Avoid the 3Cs: Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations
- Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks are strongly encouraged in public areas or if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
- Avoid shaking hands or touching others
- Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
- Seek early treatment if symptomatic
- Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
- Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas
In addition to the SOPs, continue to adhere to THiS:
- T: Terms set under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)
- Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
- S: Safe social distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others
MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the World Health Organization (WHO). The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
