King and political leaders to host open houses

PETALING JAYA: As Malaysians open their hearts to celebrate Hari Raya, the King and political leaders will lead the way by hosting open houses this festive season.
Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah Sultan Abdullah will host a Hari Raya get-together for the Cabinet at Istana Negara today at 9.30am.
The King will also be holding an open house at Istana Abdulaziz in Kuantan from 10am to 1pm tomorrow .
The people are advised to wear proper attire due to the period of mourning following the death of Paduka Ayahanda Sultan Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah on May 22.
There will also be a Hari Raya celebration with the Perak Royal Family today and Perak Mentri Besar, held from 2.30pm to 5.30pm at Stadium Indera Mulia in Ipoh.
The Perlis Royal Family will be hosting their open house at Dataran Majlis of Istana Arau from 9am to 11.30am today.
Tomorrow, the Sultan of Kedah is hosting an open house at Dataran Kepala Tanjung in Istana Anak Bukit from 10am to 1pm, while the Johor Royal Family’s open house is at Istana Pasir Pelangi from 10am to 2pm.
In Putrajaya today, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his Cabinet will be hosting an open house at the Seri Perdana Complex from 10am to 4.30pm.
A free shuttle bus service will be provided from three locations: Putrajaya Sentral, Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin and Putra mosque.
On Saturday, Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s open house at Dewan Muafakat in Bandar Baru Bukit Gambir, Johor, is from 10am to 2pm.
On June 15, PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will host his open house at 7.45pm next to the Port Dickson district administrative complex, while Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan will have his at his family home in Kampung Tanjung in Rantau from 9am to 5pm.
Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak will also be holding an open house today at Kediaman Sri Kenangan in Pekan from 10am to 2pm.
At state level, Pahang Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail will host an open house today at Dewan Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, Kuantan (11am to 4pm) while the open house for Penang Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Abdul Rahman Abbas will be at Setia SPICE Arena in Bayan Lepas on June 26 (4pm).
Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir’s event is at Seri Mentaloon on June 8 (11am to 3pm) and Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Dr Sahruddin Jamal at the Mentri Besar’s residence at Saujana, from 9am to 2pm today.
The Selangor government will hold an open house at Bazarena in Section 13, Shah Alam at 8pm on June 15
