Johor Sultan pays tribute to fathers in special message

PETALING JAYA: Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has saluted fathers for their sacrifice and diligence in a special Father’s Day message.
Writing on Facebook on Sunday, the Johor Sultan spoke about how fathers work hard to provide for their families.
“Being a proud father myself, I know fatherhood is the most important role we will ever play, for our children look to us for a role model, and how they shape their lives is often a reflection of us,” he said.
Sultan Ibrahim also urged fathers to always be there for their children.
“May you always set a good example for your children, and be there for them when it matters,” he said, wishing all fathers a very Happy Father’s Day.
Sultan Ibrahim’s Facebook post has so far received 11,000 likes and been shared 724 times.
