Teen killed in theme park accident

ONE maintenance worker was killed and 23 more injured when an amusement park ride toppled over in a theme park in Chennai, India, Malaysia Nanbanreported.
The workers were conducting trial runs to ensure the safety of the ride before customers were allowed on when the spinning structure suddenly fell over, throwing them to the ground.
The impact killed one 19-year-old worker instantly, while another man was reportedly in serious condition.
Family members of the workers later marched into the theme park to confront the management, accusing them of delaying sending the men to hospital in an attempted cover-up.
Two proprietors of the privately-owned theme park have been arrested.
