CCTV footage shows suspects who allegedly stole $26,000 worth of angbao money at wedding reception in JB

Three men stole ang pow money totalling about RM70,000 (S$26,263) given by guests during a wedding reception at a restaurant in Johor Baru on Valentine's Day, reports Malaysia's The Star via Oriental Daily.

A box containing the cash, which was placed under the guest registration table, was discovered missing after the wedding.

Closed closed-circuit television footage revealed that three men had stolen the box.
The footage showed the thieves, who were dressed in white shirts and black pants, loitering outside the restaurant several hours before the wedding started.

One of them approached the counter on the pretense of checking on his table, while another man stood next to him to divert the attention of other guests.

The third man then reached under the table and took the box.
